A promising female artist from the Tanabe studio, Nakamura Emika is one of the youngest disciples of master Tanabe Chikuunsai IV. Her technical mastery reflects years of training and refinement in a practice that recalls the excellence of the postwar works of Tanabe Chikuunsai II (1910–2000).
