Deme Tōhaku was the 4th head of Ōno-Deme family, which was very famous as a hereditary line of Nō mask makers. Tōhaku was at first a disciple of Deme Mitsunaga, a leader of the Echizen-Deme family. He was later adopted by his master because of his great ability.
